Paragraph writing

The Election Day

The Election Day this year was full of excitement. My School was one of the polling centre. There was feverish activity on the booth. The rush of voters was increasing gradually. There were cars and rickshaws used by different candidates to bring voters from their homes. The polling officer enquired from the voters their names and  the particulars recorded in the electoral roll. He also verified every voter's identity card before using the ballot paper. Before casting the vote. an indelible ink mark  was put on every voter's left fore-finger. Polling was brisk especially in the afternoon and the booths were closed exactly at 5 p.m. Luckily there was no unhappy incident. I returned home tired but satisfied.
