CONSNANTS SOUNDS

In the last section we saw some important points of description of vowels briefly. This is next one, here we are discuss about description and classification of consonants. As you all know  in English there are 44 sound, out of these 20 vowel sounds( 12 monophthongs and 8 diphthongs) and 24 consonants sounds.

Consonant is a speech sound that is articulated with complete or partial closure of the vocal tract.
