Mahatma Gandhi was a great patriotic Indian. Mahatma Gandhi was
a man who of unbelievable great personality known as the father of
nation his effort for Indian independence is unparalleled. He was
born on 2nd October 1869 in Porbandar, Gujarat. Mohandas
Karamchand Gandhi was sent to England after his matriculation.
There, he passed law and become a barrister and he went to South
Africa and worked there for the good of Indians. He came back to
India and fought for freedom. He had to go to jail many times; it has
been due to Gandhi's campaign against excessive industrial
development that there has been the program promotion of
renewable energy and small scale irrigation systems.
