1.  What caused desperation to the gods?                                                                               Ans- The gods and demons were at war. In this war, the demon had the upper hand. The gods realised that, they were losing the battle. This caused desperation to them.

    

2. What was the new mischief Phatik thought of?

   Ans- A log of wood was lying on the mud flat of the river. Phatik thought of a mischief that if the log was rolled away into the water. it's owner would be angry and surprised. All the boys would enjoy the fun.

3. Why did some scholars laugh at Ashtavakra?

   Ans- Ashtavakra was a handicapped person, he had a deformed body. when he had entered to attend the meeting of great scholars. Some scholars had seen Ashtavakra and began to laugh at him.

4. What were phatik's last words?

   Ans- Phatik's last words were mother, the holidays have come.

• The entire universe is one family. ਸਾਰਾ ਬ੍ਰਹਿਮੰਡ ਇੱਕ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਹੈ। 
• The boys were puzzled for a moment. ਮੁੰਡੇ ਇੱਕ ਪਲ ਲਈ ਉਲਝ ਗਏ ।
• The gods approached the sage Dadhichi. . ਦੇਵਤੇ ਰਿਸ਼ੀ ਦਧੀਚੀ ਕੋਲ ਆਏ।

Diwali is an important Indian festival. It’s generally falls in the month of November. it comes twenty days after Dussehra. Sri Ram came back to Ayodhya on this day. Sri Guru Hargobind was set free by the Mughal emperor on this day. This festival is celebrated in the every village and towns. Houses and shops are painted in new colours. People light their homes with candles and electric lights. They buy sweets and toy. They distribute gifts among friends and relatives. Children enjoy fireworks at night on this day. People worship goddess Lakshmi. Some people gamble on this day. It is an evil, it should be ended.

I hope you are fine. I missed you very much on my birthday. I knew due to some official work, you could not reached on my birthday celebration. However, you are gift parcel reached on time. I surprisely opened it and were overjoyed to see a stylish watch. It is very nice Watch. I had no idea that you will keep that thing in mind and would not forget it. You know that I have very much liked that and everyone at home has also praised.

I have no words for thanks to you for this precious gift on my birthday. I will always keep this safe and take care of it.
